The standard Grant Steering wheel installation kit is used to install all Classic, Challenger, or Signature Series Steering Wheels. Each kit contains complete step-by-step instructions, a die cast hub, grade 5 hardware and matte black trim pieces.

Grant installation kits are necessary to install Grant Custom Steering Wheels. Genuine Grant Installation Kits should be used only on vehicles specified in Grant's application charts.

Installation Kits are not designed to be used on any airbag equipped vehicle.

These kits are not designed for use on vehicles with radio controls or cruise controls mounted on the steering wheel except for certain Ford Vehicles with cruise control switches in the steering wheel. Call for information if you think this applies to your Ford.

Installation kits will not fit vehicles with telescopic column. (Except kit no. 6400 & 6401 which are not included in this sale.)

To ensure adequate finger clearance between the steering wheel rim and turn signal or other column levers, select a Grant Custom Steering Wheel that will approximate the "dish" of the original wheel. Be sure to add 1" adapter height to the printed Grant Wheel "dish" when comparing to the original wheel

It is easy to change the steering wheel in your vehicle. It usually takes less than thirty minutes.
Grant manufactures Installation Kits to install Grant Custom Steering Wheels on a wide variety of vehicles. Installation Kits are available for most passenger cares, light duty trucks, sport utility vehicles and sport boats. And Installation Kit is necessary to install a Grant Custom Steering Wheel.

**EXCEPTIONS: The following Vehicles Makes or Models have special applications that are not included in this price: all telescoping steering wheel models; Alfa-Romeo; Audi; BMW; American Motors Alliance & Encore; Fiat; Ford Escort; 1970-1974 Plymouth Barracuda & Dodge Challenger; 1992-98 Ford Trucks & Bronco; Jaguar; Mazda RX 7; Mazda 1986-1987 MX6 or 929; Mercedes; Merkur; MG; Mini Cooper; Porsche except for 1949-59 models; SAAB; Subaru; Triumph; 1989 Corrado, Golf, GTI, Jetta & Passport Volkswagens; Volvo. Euro Steering Wheel installation kits are also excluded. Other exceptions include non-Automotive applications such as Golf carts, marine applications, etc. other than autos.
The exceptions list above generally cost more because of their adaptations. You may also need extensions to make your steering wheel fit just right.

Grant Billet Style Installation Kits are an optional styling upgrade for our most demanding customers. The billet Style Kits have Grant's five-hole mounting Pattern and can only be used to install Grant Signature Series Steering Wheels. The Kits feature machined aluminum styling sleeves in a highly polished mirror finish and are available in either natural color or anodized with a deep, rich, black luster finish.
