Kat's Handi-Heater Magnetic Heater #1153

Application Instructions:

  1. Clean & sand reservoir to bare metal.  Remove all dirt, grease, oil and other contaminants using a degreasing solvent.  do not use gasoline or acetone.

  2. If heater is to be installed on a vehicle, try to run the engine to pre-warm the oil pan.

  3. Peel off backing and apply pad to reservoir making sure that there are no air pockets or creases in the pad.  Use a roller or spreader to remove them.

  4. Seal the edges of the heater with high temperature silicone to insure proper protection to the edge of the heater.

  5. Secure the cord up and out of the ways of any obstructions, making sure that it does not hang down from the pan or touch any hot or moving part of the engine.

  6. NOTE:  Do not cut pad;  Do not use on battery.

Glue to the bottom of your oil pan, etc.

For engine heating:  Best results can be achieved by sticking the heater on the lowest flat surface of the bottom or side of the oil pan.
