KAT'S Heaters Protect Your Vehicle's Engine against Winter's Freezing Weather! Now is a good time to change or install a new engine heater!! There are three areas of your engine to winterize for complete vehicle protection!
The frost plug, lower radiator hose heater, or circulating tank heater are designed to keep the coolant in your engine warm. These products help stimulate warm temperatures, give quicker starts and protect your engine from damage that can occur during cold weather starts. An Engine Heater is an electric heater that heats the engine of a car to give quicker starts in cold weather. They are connected to normal AC power overnight or before driving, via regular power outlets that are fed through a vehicle's grille. This allows easier starting in cold temperatures, by keeping the coolant warm. Heaters are also available for motor oil so as to warm the oil and give the engine lubrication from the beginning of start-up. The rapid heat circulation caused by block heaters also aids the initial vaporization of fuel in the engine; because of this effect, block heaters reduce pollution, as poor fuel vaporization causes much higher emissions. We have these items to protect your engine from winter's damaging cold: frost plug heater, lower radiator hose heater, Diesel heater, external tank heater, magnetic heater, flexible hot pad heaters, dip stick heater, battery pad heater, battery blankets, auxiliary interior heater, and more. Click here, For more information on Kat's Products. Index of Kat's Products Below is an index of Kat's Heaters according to Model of car. The Charts are taken from the 2009 Kat's Application Guide and give the appropriate frost plugs, lower radiator heaters, and external tank heaters. If you do not see a heater number by your year's vehicle, it is because Kat's will not recommend a heater if there is danger to the coolant system or heater or there is not practical room for the heater to fit the application. Kat's silicone oil pan hot pad heaters, battery blankets & pads, and oil dipstick heaters are not shown in the charts below.
